Another blog (or two…)
I started another blog, Preparing for the Physical Task Test, the entry test for law enforcement. Don’t expect a lot of real interesting writing there, but feel free to check it out if you’re curious.
I also started a blog for One Shot Photography so you can easily know when I update the site with new pictures (which, by the way, now includes Christmas cards!)

Maybe Another Knee Surgery
Well, on Thursday I am going to see yet another orthopedic surgeon to get yet another opinion about what to do with my knee… sigh….
At this point yet another surgery seems imminent. Sigh.
Anyway, one of the surgeries that might be considered is Autologous Chondrocyte Implantation, which repairs/replaces the “patchy” cartilage on the back of the patella, but it has killer-long rehab. Well, I found a blog, Jim’s Bionic Knee that chronicles Jim’s ACI rehab. It has a lot of good information, and is really funny.
I’m mostly posting this link for my reference, but its actually quite entertaining, so you might want to check it out too.

Autism Blogs
There aren’t to many things where I take up an activist-type position.
Yes. I think you should rescue, spay/neuter dogs and other pets (unless specifically using them as working dogs).
Yes. I think people should be less careless about the enviroment.
Yes. I try to avoid feedlot, steroid-ed meat.
But, since my cousin was diagnosed with autism, its become very clear that people really don’t know about autism spectrum disorders. You say you know someone who is autistic, and they say “Oh really, what’s that?” Well, considering the current statistics indicate that 1 in 150 American children will be diagnosed with autism, I think that more people should know about autism, not to mention that there needs to be more research about the cause and treatment of autism.
Well, tonight when I was browsing through the wordpress archives, I found a few blogs I liked that are written by the parents of autistic children.
